Sunday 12th

So I had to break the weekend into 2 post because of the pictures.  I'm learning as I go here!!  So Sunday we got up at the crack of dawn (like 9am)  We had a relaxing breakfast with the Lowey's and then headed off to church.  It was a good sermon, but Sarah and I did miss Grace.  Sarah posted that on face book but I thought it should be said on here too.  The only huge difference in the services was we didn't get out of church till noon!!  With all the eating we had been doing, apparently I still get hungry at 11:30!!  After getting to say hello to some old faces (not old, just haven't seen them in a while), we set out for Northwest Trek.  This is a Nature Reserve set on over 400 acres.  We were all praying the weather would hold out, mostly Mel and I.  We don't do rain!!  But the weather held out and we hung out and saw tons of amazing animals.  The kids were very excited and got loud every time there was a new animal.  We took a tram around the park and it was amazing.  Because the property is so big usually you only see a few animals up close but God set us up with a great show.  All the animals were between 5 and 25 feet from the tram.  Goats, Buffalo, Sheep, Deer, Moose, Elk, tons of birds, Turtles, and more I can't remember.  When you get to be my age things start slipping from your memory.  Don't laugh you'll go through it too!!  After the tram ride, we walked around the rest of the park looking at the rest of the  animals.  Wolfs, Black Bears, Grizzly Bears, Eagles, and a few others.  The kids had fun and talked every one's ears off.  Mike physically lost an ear from Emma talking to him the entire weekend.  After we got home from Northwest Trek, Emily (Lowey's oldest daughter) and her friend baby sat so Mike, Mel, Sarah and I could go to dinner and have a nice dinner with no children.  It was good fun hanging out and talking (about our kids of course!! )!!  We finally ending the evening with an awesome, competitive  game of spades.  If you must know, Mike and I won (of course)!!  That was it for Sunday

P.S.  Just in case you are wondering why Emma and Mike are holding their noses.  Emma had a little gas and stunk up the tram.  She pinched her nose at the very top instead of the bottom so Mike had to show her how to pinch her nose properly!!
